For more than 40 years, Millview Swim Club has celebrated community. The Community Club was
established in 1964 by a group of neighbors in the Rudderville area (near Page High School). The pool
opened around 1980, after a fundraising effort by members of the Community Club. Today, members
continue to work together to manage our pool and clubhouse and create a welcoming place for those in
our community to gather, fellowship, relax, and be fit. Join us, and dive in!
Your annual membership is much less than the cost of maintaining a pool at home. The clubhouse is
available for a reduced rental rate to members. And the fun in the sun with old and new friends and
family is priceless.
Millview Swim Club is simply a group of people who share the common interest of hanging out in the
pool and spending time with their family, friends, and neighbors—those in the area surrounding Page
Middle and Page High Schools, College Grove, Bethesda, Peytonsville, Rudderville, Thompson's Station,
and SE Franklin, TN. By investing in each other and the pool through time, elbow grease, and funding, all
of us are paid in rich memories.
Millview Swim Club is owned by every member that pays for a membership each year. We are a not-for-
profit organization with an elected board of volunteers. Only lifeguards are compensated for their time.
The board members, with guidance of advisors (previous board members and founding members)
routinely vote on matters of procedure and direction for Millview. This includes budgeting, setting rates
for membership, prioritizing repairs, purchasing equipment and supplies, hiring and paying lifeguards,
and communicating to the members.
